MaryAnn Hodge Powell, 79, of Cottonwood and Harrisburg, PA, passed peacefully on March 2, 2010.
She is survived by a twin sister, Thora G. Hodge, of Clarkdale, and a daughter, Sally Powell Seeley, of Harrisburg, PA.
She graduated from Colorado College with a BS in psychology and was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. She was a member of P.E.O. (Philanthropic Education Organization International) to enhance educational opportunities for women, Episcopal Church Women, and a former Senior Warden and member of the vestry of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Clarkdale. She was a devoted volunteer for the Old Town Mission in Cottonwood, AZ.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Old Town Mission, 116 E. Pinal, Cottonwood, AZ 86326 or Hospice Compassus, 70 Bell Rock Plaza, Suite A, Sedona, AZ 86351.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Clarkdale, Saturday, March 20, at 11 a.m.
