Ralph E. Denison, 95 of Clarkdale, passed away July 6. He was born June 28, 1915 to Thomas E. Denison and Mabel (Musson) Denison in Jerome, Arizona.
Ralph attended Jerome Grade School and High School then went on to California Tech. He was class president his senior year in 1922. He served in WWII in the Navy. He is a Pearl Harbor survivor and served on the vestal parked next to the USS Arizona.
Ralph worked at North Island in San Diego, California for 30 years and was the owner of El Ropero clothing store in Cottonwood for 5 years.
Ralph enjoyed golf, pool, and shuffleboard and was champion for several years in San Diego . He loved his family, friends, and country.
Ralph is preceded in death by wife Ruth S. Whitten Denison. He is survived by stepson Jerry Wicks (Sandy) of Ohio ; stepdaughter Ruth Marie Wicks of Arizona; 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
