Joseph A. Fragale, 84, of Cottonwood died July 2. He was born July 29, 1925 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the son of Frank and Lucy Fragale. In World War II, he served his country in the Army Air Corps in Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe as a gunner with an aerial crew and was discharged as a staff sergeant. He received the European-African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with three bronze stars and an Air Medal with three bronze clusters. Mr. Fragel worked as a property manager for the Air Force for many years. He leaves his wife, Joyce D. Fragale; a son Tony Fragale (Lori) of Riverside, California; a daughter Lauri Wilt (Brent) of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services for Mr. Fragale are pending.
