Bruce Weston Deland, Jr., 80, of Clarkdale died July 22 in Surprise. He was born July 23, 1930 in New Rochelle, New York the son of Bruce Weston Deland, Sr and Eleanor Deland.
He was a graduate of the McKee Trade School. Mr. Deland was retired from Sorg Printing in New York, New York.
A member of Mountain View United Methodist Church, he served as an usher. He enjoyed car shows, camping, fishing, trains, travel and model building.
He leaves his wife of 47 years, Joyce Deland; two sons, Robert Deland (Crystal) of Cardington, Ohio and Richard Deland (Collette) of Brooklyn, New York; a brother Thomas Deland of Bloomfield, Colorado; and a sister, Lois Deland; and three grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday at the Westcott Funeral Home from 10- 11 AM. A memorial service will follow at 11 AM. A guestbook is available online at www.westcottfuneralhome.com
