Susan,
I cherish the memories of your Mother as our Bluebird group leader--she kept us involved in many projects. I remember the Christmas play we performed in your basement in the house on Avenue I. Another memory is of your mother teaching us how to make a bed; it is the method I still use--that top sheet never comes loose at the bottom! Alice also had such a sparkling personality and was such a beautiful person "from the inside, out".My Mother died five years ago July 13; she and your Mom were also such good friends.

Thinking of all of you during this difficult time.

I'll miss you G'ma. I'm very glad I was able to spend the Holidays with her amongst relatives the past few years here in Arizona. My last memory I have of her was visiting her in the hospital in Phoenix, her spirits were high that day and she had a big smile on her face, which is how I'll always remember her. I hope G'pa and Grady and all her relatives that passed on before are with her now and she is having a great time sharing fond memories of them in heaven.

Bruce and family,
My condolences to you and your family Bruce. It was so wonderful to see you at Larry Loose' celebration of life. My memories of all the great times we had, when Bob and I lived with you in LaPorte, CO. Wow, how the time has flown. Your mother and dad were wonderful people!! Please know we are all thinking of you back here in NE!

Dear Bruce and Family ~
Voice from the past sending condolences to you at your time of sorrow.
I used to hang out with you, Gay and Garry, Kenny Hoffman, etc., etc. I wish someday we could have a reunion with Stanley, Herschel Clyde and so many more. I lost my husband of nearly 30 years and my oldest son, James Dean, a year ago in January.

Hope to hear from you and take care of yourselves. It sounds like your mother was a remarkable woman.

Back in the 60's, Alice was one of my very favorite patrons at the Scottsbluff Public Library. She was such a good library user that I still remember her old library number (W354a). Alice was delightful to visit with, always happy and cheerful, loved books, loved libraries---it's no wonder we librarians liked her so much.
My deepest sympathy to you all.

Gigi (which stands for Great-Grandma) was my grandmother & the great-grandmother of my 2 children, Taj & Kaia.

Taj absolutely adored Gigi & was fortunate enough to be able to spend time with her. During our visits, Taj & Gigi spent a fair bit of time smiling & giggling at each other.

Kaia is only a month old, so didn't have the pleasure of meeting Gigi. Kaia was given a variation of Alice as a middle name to honor her Gigi- whom I know she would have loved as much as the rest of us did.

Gigi was eternally youthful- going for walks, doing yoga, emailing, & reading books every day up until a month or so ago.

Gigi had a very open manner & always spoke to me in the most refreshingly honest way. I loved that she was able to bypass the small talk and speak about real things. We talked about everything.

We totally adored her & will miss her madly, but we know that she is happy to be reunited with Grandpa (with whom she had a wonderful love story) & the rest of her family in Heaven.
