I was so blessed to have spend time with Mala before she passed. Even though it was by phone.
I was even more blessed to have had her in my life. She was the biggest influence in my life. A great friend and mentor, she will be greatly missed.
Maria was am amazing person that touched so many lives.

Dear Jessie and Jaymes,
Your mother was such a dear soul who taught us all how to love and give of ourselves. She showed me through example how to live my life in the most useful way to be of service to God and those who touch my heart. I try to share these lessons with those I encounter on a regular basis. These are the keys to living a great and abundently spiritual life as your mother did each and every day on this earth.

Now, she is with God and we are left here to carry on the work that she has so lovingly taught us to do. Let's all make her proud everyday for the rest of the time we have on this earth together.

I had developed a very friendly relationship with your Mom before she moved to Florida in Dec. of '78. I remember driving with her and your Dad to the Airport (in a VW I believe). And it was snowing.
I had the pleasure of speaking with her recently and I must tell you, her heart has never changed or grown old. We spoke as if we had just seen each other yesterday. She was beautiful physically and spiritually and from her picture she looks just as beautiful and from our conversations she was just as spiritual.
You two were truly blessed to have her as she was to have you.

Although I only met her twice, I feel like I really came to know Maria throughout two special visits this year--and what a wonderful woman she was. Her stories were exciting and anyone could tell she had such a passion for life. Maria loved her children SO much and made sure to let me know at any chance she got. Stories about when Jaymes & Jessica were young were particularly my favorite to listen to. She welcomed me into her home and as part of her family.
