I'm sorry to hear of Ralph's passing. We worked together at Chase Brass Forging from when I started as plant accountant in 1974 until he retired. He was a great guy who brought his military persona into the way he ran the plant, tough but fair and by the book. I remember transferring into the Waterbury National guard and everyone asked me if I worked with Ralph when they heard I was from Chase brass Forgings. They all remembered and loved him. When he retired from Chase Brass I mc'd the event and there were close to 300 people there to honor him. I remember the speakers joked him and the UAW union who he dealt with presented a grievance over his leaving the company. I'm sure that he and anyone there recognized how he was beloved. Many times over the years I've thought of Ralph and wondered where he was, I appreciate your putting the obit in the Waterbury paper. I lets me know about his passing as well as letting you know what a great guy he was.
